265 questions on nclex?

has anyone heard of many that have passed the nclex with 265 questions or am i doomed?

Hi everybody ,

Today my boyfriend called me up to say that I passed the board. I cried and thanked the LORD. I am so thankful I took the Kaplan course. For those who are still waiting ...our thoughts and prayers are with you. This my most wonderful birthday gift from GOD...Now I can relax and enjoy my mom's visit. Thanks for this forum's encouragement and for keeping me sane.... :balloons:

Moving Along in CA. Did your boyfriend get the results from checking the verification of Permanent Licenses?

I don't know how true this is but....one of my Kaplan instructors told us that they randomly pick people to take all 265 before the test even starts. Does anyone know if this is true or heard of the same thing??

Yes, it's true. One of my nursing instructors helps write the exam, and she says that for research/statistics purposes, a certain number of people are randomly selected to get all 265 questions. So she said not to panic if you get 265!

Thank you guys...This is like the best day ever!!!

About the boards, He checked it at the website under license verification. It was issued Monday but only posted today morning. Dont worry because yours is on its way!!!Keep praying and trust HIM because he wouldn't want anybody that cares...like you be so sad. I will continue for all of you who are waiting. Believe in yourselves!!!

thanks for all the positive attitudes you all have, it really is encouraging...still waiting for my results...i took the 265 questions on monday and the b.o.n. said today would be too soon but that friday i should know...don't know what i will do if they can't "verify" my social! Congrats to you that passed...don't even know you but am so very proud of ya! It's been a long time coming right? Best of luck to you as new RN!!!!
