  1. 1. How many questions did you take on NCLEX? All 265!!! 2. What study materials did you use? Did you take a test review course? Our class took the F&S Review, we had ATI testing and also NCLEX 3000 3. Did your SON offer any testing (ERI, ATI, HESI)? yeah ATI 4. How long did you wait for results of the test, or are you still waiting?I tested on a Monday, and found out on Friday....however.. i called my State BON (NC) and they said they issued liscensed on every Friday and most every Tuesday, so I knew if it wasn't there on Tuesday it would be Friday and it was. Our state also did not participate in quick results but you can call or go to website to "verify liscense" and find out! 5. What were your thoughts coming out of the test (total disbelief, certainty you had failed, confident you had passed)?I had total disbelief and honestly thought i failed...but i didn't 6. Was this your first attempt at NCLEX?First attempt!!!! Good luck to you all!!!!!!
  2. hello everyone....just wanted to say that the number of questions really doesn't matter...i just took my NCLEX on June 6 and had all 265 questions and I passed....so i don't think that getting a high number means you didn't do well....i think it's generally in our nature to doubt ourselves and just panic...i know i did....but you'll do fine....and if not atleast you don't have to sit through more nursing school....just retest! Good Luck to you all! Amy
  3. i too got 265 questions on june 6....it was rough but i passed..and am now working as a RN!!! So good luck to ya! i'll be praying for you!
  4. thanks for all the positive attitudes you all have, it really is encouraging...still waiting for my results...i took the 265 questions on monday and the b.o.n. said today would be too soon but that friday i should know...don't know what i will do if they can't "verify" my social! Congrats to you that passed...don't even know you but am so very proud of ya! It's been a long time coming right? Best of luck to you as new RN!!!!
  5. well here in north carolina we don't participate in the quick results thing either but you can look on your state board of nursing website and their should be a number and a link to "verify liscenses" and you just put in your social and it will tell your "status" (RN)..it's a cheap way to do it but it works...I took mine yesterday and the lady that answer the phone (not the automated one) said our boards issue liscenses on tuesday and friday, so since i took it yesterday i can actually find out today...i'm so nervous...those 265 questions just about killed me!!!!
  6. thanks so much...i'm going crazy here....so there's still hope!!!! I sure was hoping for 75...much to my dismay I went to the end....Thanks a bunch!
  7. I am from the charlotte area and think that CMC(carolinas medical center) would be an excellent choice to work in the NICU...you would love it..charlotte is such a clean city...not to mention CMC has several "branches" all located within miles of its Main hospital...they are also building a children's hospital that will be finished in 2006...welcome to NC!
  8. has anyone heard of many that have passed the nclex with 265 questions or am i doomed?
  9. hey..i took it today, and i had all 265 questions..does anyone know who passed having all 265? i'm a nervous wreck!!!!!
