  1. After 5 weeks of waiting here in CA, I logged in early this morning and found my name on the BRN's site with RN next to it! Thanks for all of your support during this very trying time. Remember that it really is just a number.
  2. CONGRATS!!!!!! As another 265er, I hope to join your ranks soon! Never doubt yourself!! You will make a great RN and make your daughter extremely proud.
  3. I had 265 as well and still waiting for results in CA (been 5 weeks now) I, too, have known many who got 265 and passed, so think good thoughts! I'll send a few your way.
  4. Interim Permits are issued without a transcript ... call them and ask if your file is complete. The number is on their website http://rn.ca.gov I and others from my class have called and been repeatedly told that they are swamped and it can take up to 4 weeks at this point even if your file is complete. The best you can do is hang in there because nothing will make the process any faster. Good luck!!
  5. I also had 265 questions almost 5 weeks ago and have yet to hear from the CA BRN since my school just sent in the transcripts early this week. Hang in there ... there are many, many people who passed with 265. Think good thoughts and I'll think some for you as well. Let us know how you did!
  6. Maybe once they have your transcripts ... but I know people who saw their name on line in as little as 3 days. It's a state agency, so things take time. They got my transcripts on Tuesday, and still waiting here ... took the test on June 15th. Most others in my class are also still waiting, though one had her name posted today. There is nothing you can do to speed it up ... so try to relax. But trust me, I know it's not easy.
  7. It's been over 4 weeks and I'm still waiting. As you've seen a thousand times, it depends on when the school sends in your transcripts. Mine were finally sent in the beginning of this week. Call the BRN and make sure they have your complete file. If it's complete, I've known people seeing their name on the BRN site within 3-5 days. They only update their system once a night in the middle of the night, so check in the mornings Tues-Sat. Best of luck to you and find something fun to do to keep your mind off of the whole waiting game.
  8. Thanks :) I wish they would email me! I'm in CA ... the school hasn't sent transcripts yet ... so I sit and wait. I'll let you know what happens.
  9. Took the NCLEX yesterday and got all 265 questions. Thanks for those who posted who also had all 265! I know it's a 50/50 chance at this point ... but I do remember the last 50 or so questions being easier than the first 50. I also had umpteen drug calculation questions ... luckily that's my forte! LOL I was freaking out yesterday until I read many posts on here about others getting 265 and passing. I'll roll with the punches, and hope for the best. I'll keep you all posted. Thanks again for all your posts on this site!! VERY helpful!
