I have a former classmate who passed with 265 questions. Another guy took the test & told me that he had all the questions & he passed.

Hi,
I have a couple of classmates that Passed with 265 questions. i also went all the way to 265 which id scary but I am still hoping and praying that I still pass because I took a review course with Kaplan and I had all those new format questions. They were hard and that scared me because the test did not stop at 75. But I took a break and breath enough to continue and pray that I can get through the test without panicking. I hope that we all made it because this is the only thing that I HAD ALWAYS WANTED TO BE...a RN. So please keep us on your prayers....

I don't know how true this is but....one of my Kaplan instructors told us that they randomly pick people to take all 265 before the test even starts. Does anyone know if this is true or heard of the same thing??

a friend of mine took hers last tuesday as well as about 4 other students from our school. She and 3 others got the full 265 the same day. She didn't know how the others did with it but she didn't make it I don't know if she had checked on the BNE website for their names or not. I will call her tomorrow and see if she knows.
Keep the faith

I've been through a lot of wait with other things from the CABON. I was told by the evaluator on my case that they are way behind on applications alone because of budget cuts. When I found out mine was approved to retest for my lapsed RN license, I got my ATT the next day. Just hang in there. They are just exceedingly slow. I KNOW WE MADE IT! They are extremely nice people at this BON and they are interested in the graduates and getting their licenses to them. Also they know CA needs the nurses. But you won't get any straight or same answers from the people that answer the phones.
We're going to make it!

Unfortunately California is not one of the states that allows early notification via Pearson-vue. Sorry.
well here in north carolina we don't participate in the quick results thing either but you can look on your state board of nursing website and their should be a number and a link to "verify liscenses" and you just put in your social and it will tell your "status" (RN)..it's a cheap way to do it but it works...I took mine yesterday and the lady that answer the phone (not the automated one) said our boards issue liscenses on tuesday and friday, so since i took it yesterday i can actually find out today...i'm so nervous...those 265 questions just about killed me!!!!
Hi everybody ,
Today my boyfriend called me up to say that I passed the board. I cried and thanked the LORD. I am so thankful I took the Kaplan course. For those who are still waiting ...our thoughts and prayers are with you. This my most wonderful birthday gift from GOD...Now I can relax and enjoy my mom's visit. Thanks for this forum's encouragement and for keeping me sane.... :balloons:
