I see lots of posts about passing or failing with 75 questions, just curious what the stats are. I would like to think that nursing school prepares us enough that those who get 75 are mostly passing?
Well, I don't know if it's too soon or not. I took my NCLEX for WA state yesterday morning, tried the Pearsonvue trick today and I got the popup. I guess I'll let y'all know if this trick worked for me, but it could be a while. LOL Oh gosh, I hope I passed. Many things popped up in my life which delayed my test taking (graduated June 2008), so I've got a bit of a gap. I have studied my rear off though. I hope it didn't hurt me that I did mostly RN NCLEX studying and RN NCLEX Cram. Ugh.... I bet I had nearly 1/3 SATA questions...just crazy! I was just numb for most of the test...like I was in a trance. I hope that's a good thing. Okay....well, I'll let you know if that Pearsonvue trick worked for me....like I said, it's only been one day, but I seemed to have the same pop up that the other "passers" had. Congratulations to all you passers out there and good luck to all of you who haven't taken it yet.

I took the NCLEX yesterday the 16th. I am honestly terrified to receive my results. I prepared for this test for approxiamately one month and prior to this I took the Kaplan review course. The computer shut off at 75 and I do not even know if I passed or failed:confused:. I really feel like I failed though. I cried:crying2: all the way home from the site until I reached home. I had so many SATA and medication questions. I also had prioritization and infection control questions. I know I should not worry myself to death about this but I cannot help it. I just pray to GOD that I pass this exam, I feel that I deserve this just as every nursing student out there. Please everyone pray for me. I find out my results on Thursday and thinking about it now I am anxious. Until Thursday.................
aye125RN.....I am praying for you. I know, it's so stressful, isn't it? You work so hard, study yourself into a fog and then go in there and feel like you're so stupid....like you don't know anything. A friend of mine said, "Yeah, how's it feel to pay so much money to feel so bad?" LOL Hang in there. As I said, I tried the Pearsonvue "trick", but it had only been 24 hours. I hope it's right and that I passed. I have a job lined up and an application waiting for me to fill out. I just want to know if I passed before I fill it out.
Again, good luck to you, you are in my prayers.

Hi Busy Me, I tried the pearson vue trick as well and it did not let me go on to pay. I have read other posts and it says that if it does not let you on to pay, that means that you passed. I am hoping this is true. I will pray for both of us that we pass, which I am sure we did! Thank you!

Thank you so much for your prayers aye125RN! Oh gosh, I sure hope that trick does work. I just went to the P-vue site and it said that I could view my unofficial results for $7.95, then I did the "trick" again and it gave me the same popup window, wouldn't allow me to register. Please let it be right, for both our sakes.
I have a best friend who is finishing up her RN, and has been pestering me like crazy to get my test done. LOL She talked me into becoming a CNA years ago, when she was a CNA and is working for a facility as an LPN while she finished up her RN. She called last night to find out how my test went and said she's got an application ready for me to fill out, has talked to the management and other nurses about me working there and apparently they're psyched about it. LOL Frankly, after taking nearly 2 years off (family circumstances), I'm ready to hit the floor, at least, part time. I've been enjoying the heck out of watching my grandbaby while my dd is in school, but I am ready to step forward. I'll work swings so that I can still help out my dd while she's in college, but I'm ready to use that knowledge. I have no desire to pursue my RN, at least at this point in time. I'm a delegator and supervisor here at home, have been for nearly 30 years....lol, I have no desire to be one at work. CNAs I can handle, but I think I could be quite happy as an LPN for now. I admire anyone who goes on to become an RN, but as I said, right now.....it's just not for me! Still praying for you...... please keep us posted, okay! I'm sure you did great!

I hope it will be right too. That is great that yoy already have a job lined up. Good luck with that. I am still praying for you too as well and thanks for praying for me. I will definitely keep you posted. When do you find out your results?
aye125RN,
My friend said that here in WA state, they try to have the results available on the DOH credential search site in 72 hrs. That would be tomorrow for me. If I wanted to pay for the unofficial results, I could type in our credit card number and have it now. Pearsonvue said that my "quick results" are available. I don't think that I'm in such a big hurry that I can't wait another day or two. LOL Keeping you in my prayers.....(((hugs))) deep breath! LOL

So it has been a long journey since I graduated back in November 2009 until this past Friday when I took my exam. I live in NJ and applied to take my exam since October but Cali gave me a hard time with missing transcripts and etc and it took almost 4 months just to get my darn ATT code. When I finally got it,I scheduled my exam so quick, I almost regreted finally having it. I Studied my ASS off for 4 months upon waking in the morning til I went to bed MONDAY-SUNDAY. I gave up my social life, my fiance and everybody to study because if thats what we did it nursing school, what was another four months going to do? Don't get me wrong I took breaks during the day, watched a movie, took baths and relaxed bc studying for all that time was stressing me out, esp when I didnt even get my ATT code! I used my Saunders book read everything and did all the questions in the book and on the CD, this other NCLEX quick notes and CD and finally the NCLEX 4000 CD. For the past three weeks before the exam I just did questions all day and read the rationales for all the questions not just the ones I got wrong! EVEN with all that, I walked out of the exam on Friday feeling like garbage. I definitely cried on my way to the car and sat in the parking lot for like 20 minutes thinking what I was going to do and calling my friend to vent and she assured me that I passed bc she felt the same way and had only 75 questions too. Anyway because I thought Cali was going to take ages to post results
