I see lots of posts about passing or failing with 75 questions, just curious what the stats are. I would like to think that nursing school prepares us enough that those who get 75 are mostly passing?
I took my NCLEX yesterday and i am sure i failed miserably (-___-) It stopped at 75. I checked several of the questions when i got home and learned i answered wrong! (T___T) My family keeps telling me i passed.. but i have no confidence at all. I only know 3-4 questions that I am sure I got right.. the math ones! i'm praying.. but i think it would take a miracle for me to have passed that exam.. wahhhhhhh
Don't count yourself out yet, I felt the exact same way after taking it Tuesday. I still have no clue how I passed. I know that it feels impossible, but there is still a good chance you passed. Just try to relax and do something to take your mind off of it (I know that also feels nearly impossible too).
Good luck!

this may not sound too good but i took the nclex rn last month and had used saunders' 3rd edition for most of my review(a mistake cos this is an outdated version).i knew i was failing as i was sitting behind that computer.to add to that, i went to nursing school in england,uk so was not very familiar with US style of nursing.the computer shut off at 75, i knew i had failed, went home and told everyone who cared to listen that i wasnt gonna stop studying cos i had not passed.i was right, i didnt pass, am still studying with a private tutor (cost 175 for 18hrs) and using the cram review book and cd.
saying that, i hope you passed and by no means intend to make you feel any worse than you already are ,just telling you what can happen when the computer stops at 75 qs . most people who pass feel as though they failed but if you are not doing as well as you should, you can tell too.
i m sorry if this comes across as a bit blunt.

WOW!!! Congrats L&E's Mom:) I knew you could do it. So glad to hear you passed. That is fantastic. I have not ever heard of pearson being wrong but I kept looking for the response on here as well because I have not yet received my license number, which still makes me nervous. Mine said passed as well and I heard that that is the result that goes to your state board of nursing. WAHOOO!!!! Good for you. Know you can finally breathe. Phew!!!
