265! I'm going to lose my mind any minute! anyone get that same amount?

:uhoh21:

I'm glad I'm not alone, having to sit through 265 questions! It took me 3 hours and 20 minutes. I took my exam on Saturday and I was a mess when I got home. I was seriously so depressed. I did nothing but sleep on my couch. I was convinced that I failed. I was SHOCKED when I read my quick results yesterday and learned that I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :thankya: I'm sharing this because I have read so many posts from people who were devastated that they had 265 questions and who were also convinced they failed. After the test I scoured the forums to try to see if anyone had passed in 265. I just want those of you who are waiting to know that it's possible! Good luck to you all!!!!!

People at either end of the spectrum here - 75 passers and 265 passers - all share one commonality (aside from having passed): I don't think I've ever met one of either group who didn't come out of the exam feeling like they'd been hit by a truck full of Kaplan's question bank. Most of us feel run ragged by the experience, and we don't think, we KNOW we failed it. But the fact of the matter is, the way it works isn't always the way we think - passing is just as possible at a full set of questions as it is at a minimum set. So don't give up hope!

I sat through a full battery on July 2nd, and came out sure I was going to have to hit the books again. Even when the PVT came back as a pass, I was sure I was one of the few it wasn't going to work for. So imagine my happiness when, two days later (on my birthday!) I got the quick results that confirmed it - 265 questions, 2.5 hours, 1 RN.

It can be done! Don't give up hope! :balloons:

Happy belated birthday, Byaggha! :balloons::cheers: It sounds like you had lots to celebrate!

Thanks! :D It was, as I said at the time, the best birthday present I ever gave myself. :nurse:

Just got done taking my NCLEX. Hit the full 265 Questions. I AM FREAKING OUT. I feel a little better, reading all these posts of people that have passed with 265, but boy, I still feel like a failure! I took the LPN a while back, got the minimum (85), so I was expecting the same for this test. Boy when 75 questions came and went, I was freaking out. I will find out Saturday at 2PM at the latest. I'm going to hope and pray that I will see PASS next to my name. Although I just don't feel sure. I got sooo many pharm questions for drugs I'd never even heard of. And a lot of prioritizing, too. Oh well, I'll just have to wait and see...

I just took my exam wednesday and I had all 265 questions. Couldn't believe it. I was the last to leave the testing center. I only had 20-something mins left when I got to the last question. Even the back of my neck is still sore from staring at the computer screen so long. God heard me praying so much, I just recently found out I passed! I know of 2 other classmates that got 265 as well and they passed. Now I'm convinced that going the full load means you're midline the whole time and I now feel good about having the entire test, I did something right to last so long.

Hi guys,

I've read your posts about passing the exam with 265q. I was seriously drained after my exam and felt delirious. I just can't function well in my daily activities cause this is what I'm always thinking of. It seems impossible that I passed the NCLEX exam with 265q since almost all of the questions are like new to me. Please pray for me guys and will update you as soon as I get my result. I took my exam July 5 and will be expecting the results next month. I'm too scared to try the PVT. Please advise. Thank you. I do hope I will be a Registered Nurse too. I want my family to be proud of me.

Congrats Ambitiouz! I hope I will pass too!:saint::saint:

I just took my ncelx-rn exam today and i'm not feeling confident because i went ALL THE WAY to 265 questions. I started to cry in the middle of the exam and my head was killing me! All i could think about was the people from my graduating class who passed with 75 quesstions and the people failed with 265...Im praying but im nervous. I completely kaplan and did every question and the rationales so I expected to stop at 75. I think i get my results tomorrow...SOMEONE PLZ SEND SUM WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT!
