I was just wondering if those of you who work at or know anything about Memorial Healthcare in Broward could let me know what you think about each hospital in the system (MRH, West, South, Miramar, Pembroke)? I am interested in ICU or L/D. Which is best for either of those? Do they all pay about the same since it's the same system? How much do they start new grads at? Why would you choose this hospital over another? ANYTHING ELSE WOULD BE GREAT!
I can tell you that I just applied to them in November and the response I got back was they are only hiring their Memorial Healthcare Scholarship recipients only. They are not hiring any new graduate nurses outside of their scholarships.
I was actually just informed I received the scholarship. I'm just trying to decide whether this is the right decision for me. Any more info would be super useful! thanks!
these days, if new grads get scholarships and guaranteed employment it's beyond a blessing. It'd be suicide to pass it up. That said I count the days until my indentured servitude contract is up with my employer.
