Questions for BSN completion students

I will be precepting a BSN completion student this fall semester for a community clinical and I'm really excited about it! This will be my first time doing this and I want it to be an awesome experience for the student.

The class is made up of experienced RNs.

I will get the details and expectations from his or her clinical instructor, but I am wondering from current or recent students what you would expect from this clinical. Should I approach it as if I were training the student to do my job and at the end of the semester he or she should be able to perform independently? What should I expect?

After reading through the Baccalaureate Essentials white paper, I am convinced that I will learn as much or more from the student, and from the experience, as the student will learn. Things have changed a lot since I graduated.
