I had a lumpectomy for a benign mass about a month ago. Everything was fine until two days ago when I developed a "twisting" like pain in the same breast (but not at the surgical site) I have this pain when bending over, pulling/pushing, coughing or when lying on the affected side. Sitting still, etc I don't have this pain. I have no swelling or nipple discharge, nor can I palpate a lump. My final follow up visit with the surgeon isn't for a few weeks.
Anyone experience this? Any ideas? Thanks..............

I had a double mascetomy and was told I would feel sharp shooting pains for a up to three months. It was a very strange, almost like an electrical shock of pain that reoccurred in short intervals for a few weeks. It was associated with nerves healing. Perhaps you are experiencing the same?
I don't know. What would be the symptoms of such. (They were internal sutures).
You would notice the pain anytime that you extended your arms or bent over.

Also may be spasm of muscles that were cut to excise the tumor. I have some strange pulling/twisting pains in my neck postop following surgery.

If the discomfort is significant enough to interfere with your normal activities, even temporarily, and/or enough for you to post about,......
Call The Doctor's Office. They Will Either Want To Know About It Or Will Have An Answer For You.
Congrats on the path report, btw.....
