Hi everyone I'm new to this post,
I'm currently living in Virginia but plan to move back to Texas once my husband separates from the military I am also a veteran. I plan to take my pre-req in Virginia and then transfer to TWU. Do any of you know if it's really hard to get in there nursing program? What all do you have to do to be accepted? Any information would be great
Thank you
there is no twu in ft worth it is in dallas and also in houston. i am speaking about dallas though. twu also offers a transfer scholarship as long as you apply for fin aid prior to the deadline. i am aware that twu offers the additonal .4 added to your gpa if you attended a set # of hours at twu denton or houston, but i did not need the bump. :yelclap: i got my associates in science first at dcccd, i got in on my grades alone! i am glad to hear you are enjoying tcu, i really like it a twu, it is really hard but rewarding!!!
btw-i got into 3 different schools including yours, each has thier own criteria, but i chose twu because of its reputation. besides tcu is further for me, and i got into my first choice.

Are you talking about TWU in Fort Worth, or in Houston? If you are talking about Fort Worth, I would recommend applying to Texas Christian University as well. I applied to both for this Fall, got accepted right off the bat at TCU, was waitlisted at TWU, then was accepted to TWU 1 week before classes started. I Stayed with TCU, since I had all my paperwork done, and they offered me a transfer student scholarship. I am glad I accepted TCU, it's a great school, and I've learned a lot so far. It's alot harder to get into TWU as a transfer student, because they give students who already attend TWU a .4 boost to their GPA. Good luck!!!
