My Kaplan scores were not as good as many people who post on here are. I was pretty nervous when I went in to take the test last week. They say you aren't supposed to take it unless your QT7 is more than 65% (and mine wasn't). But I ended up passing (first time taking it) with 115 questions. I think Kaplan is a good prep for the test cause you do SO many questions and it just gets you to critically think on the exam. I found the NCLEX to be easier than Kaplan questions (especially the SATA's). I only reviewed by doing Kaplan questions. I didn't do much content at all besides the question rationales. Hope this makes you feel more confident! You will do great!
My trainers were:
QT1 99%
QT2 63%
QT3 59%
QT4 61%
QT5 58%
QT6 66%
QT7 62%
I passed the nclex last Friday with 75 questions. I thought Kaplan was harder than the nclex. I thought Kaplan prepared me well with the application and analysis questions. The nclex SATA questions were easier on the nclex, at least the ones I got. I also did learningext.com, which was closer to the nclex in my opinion.
I just took QT7 and got 50%. I didnt even review it. I'm gonna retake it tomorrow morning to try to aim for the 60%. I got 62% on QT 6. I am freaking out as they say QT7 is what is reflective of what you get on NCLEX. I then read on here that someone said they got 50% on QT 7 and FAILED! Should I reschedule my test date? I'm taking it on July 8. I am freaking out!
Below are my question trainer scores....I take NCLEX in about 7 days. What should I do to improve? I know these scores are just that -- scores, but how many have had these scores and passed NCLEX on the first attempt? Im sooooo nervous!!!QT1 55

These scores arent too promising I know, but Im going to continue studying and reading rationales - any other advice?? Thanks in advance!!!!
These scores like almost identical to mine. I didn't do as well on those as I would have liked, however, I took NCLEX a few weeks ago and passed it with 75 questions. I would definitely suggest that you go in the testing center NOT thinking about QT scores. Just think about the questions that are being asked on the test and you will do fine.
I always do fairly well on standardized tests. We had to take the HESI exit exam and I scored 980(?) I think...cant remember the score, but I was in the top 5 in my class and that with no studying. This, on the other hand, isnt just an exit exam...it is THE exit exam!! My testing center has a date open for the 9th and I wanted to reschedule and get it over with sooner than 7 days, but I think Ill just wait. The waiting is the worst part...I think Ill just review all week and have a wonderful weekend with my family next weekend -- and pray like crazy Monday morning...I cant give any advice on rescheduling a test date, as I havent taken it yet. I dont think we will EVER feel prepared enough to take it....
