Hey,
I have read where students were able to do thier NC exams, like one a month. . .how is that possible?
Do you read everything that is required in the study guides?
I have finally got a day to test for NC2, it has took me about 2 months to feel prepared, but Just like the above said. I dont want to be just another RN. I want to be a smart and knowledgeble RN. I am actually enjoying this so far but I am sure that will change when I start the pre-reqs. I love studying for nursing subjects but I will have a really hard time on the others, wish me luck!
Hi...I just signed up through College Network for my RN and eventually through Excelsior..I am doing Nursing C1 now...Is the test pretty easy and comparable to the questions in the back of the study guide? I don't have to take NC2 because I am an LPN but I have to do all the rest. Any advise would be great!!

UOTE=willtm]Hi JaneMarie,
I took NC1 a week ago and am now working on NC2. I did the first one in about a month. Yes, I read everything. I also found some notes at the yahoo study groups that were a big help. Believe it or not, a month is long enough. I actually felt like I was forgetting the stuff I read first and went back and skimmed it. I think it's something that you have to keep moving on or you lose your motivation, at least for me.
have a nice evening:)
what is the yahoo study group?

I'm working on finishing up the NC exams. You really don't need the College Network study guides. The best ones I have found have been from EC itself.
Also, have you checked with Excelsior to see if you really don't have to take NC 2? I assumed that I wouldn't have to take NC 2 (because I graduated from school within the last 5 yrs. with a B average) so that was one I skipped, but after checking with my advisor from Excelsior I learned that this applies only if you graduated from a school with a certain accreditation, and there are no schools in my state that qualify. So I am having to backtrack and take NC 2.
That has a familiar ring to it....I'm working on finishing up the NC exams. You really don't need the College Network study guides. The best ones I have found have been from EC itself.
I'm moderating the nontradnurses group on Yahoo again. I checked the files this morning and they are in pretty good shape. They make excellent resources for EC students.
The group isn't moderated anymore, so there is no delay when you post a question or whatever. As long as people play nice, and EC students always do, dontcha know!, nobody will be moderated.
Come on over! Everybody is invited..... and it's free (did I mention that it's free? )

Thank you, Bell. You're very sweet...... not to mention tough. Hang in there, sweetcheeks. You will be an awesome RN, no doubt.
