what is the yahoo study group?

I am taking NC1 now and hopefully will take my test in a few weeks. What is the usual wait time for a test date? Are the exams comparable to the practice exam at the end of the study guides? Has anyone taken the Life Span or Sociology exams? Any information I can get would be greatly appreciated. I am also wondering what to expect for the final clinical exam. Would anyone be able to tell me the wait time for the clinical date once you register? Thanks for your help!!

Hi...I just signed up through College Network for my RN and eventually through Excelsior..I am doing Nursing C1 now...Is the test pretty easy and comparable to the questions in the back of the study guide? I don't have to take NC2 because I am an LPN but I have to do all the rest. Any advise would be great!! [Q UOTE=willtm]Hi JaneMarie, I took NC1 a week ago and am now working on NC2. I did the first one in about a month. Yes, I read everything. I also found some notes at the yahoo study groups that were a big help. Believe it or not, a month is long enough. I actually felt like I was forgetting the stuff I read first and went back and skimmed it. I think it's something that you have to keep moving on or you lose your motivation, at least for me. have a nice evening:)

Thanks for responding...I wish I would have found out sooner about the publishing company College Network. I already have my stuff through them. Oh well...How are the exams at the end of each concept class? I am worried about them as well as the clinical at the end. Is there any type of study video that I can get for that? How much did your education through this program cost approx? It is expensive, but hopefully worth it in the end. LPN salary just isn't cuttin' it for me!!
