It's not bad at all....I took it last year so I can't remember how much algebra was on it (think it's more basic math than anything).
I picked up the NET study guide (ISBN 0-9675446-0-2) b/c I had NO CLUE what to expect. The questions in that study guide and even the passages for reading comprehension are basically word for word on the test.
I took the NET on the 17th...and it was very, very easy. There was more basic math than I expected. The last 4 questions were algebra....lol. I studied from one the SAT review books by ARCO. Good Luck
Just took it a month agao-refresh yourself on percents, decimals, fractions and basic algerbra and you should do fine. Buying a NET prep book will help you loads and make you feel confident! Good luck!
Know your fractions well...adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing....there are a lot of fractions on there. It's not a hard test. Check your school testing center, sometimes they carry the study guide & you can check it out to study if you feel the need.
Thanks I need to study its been 11 years;since i have been in school.I got a pre-entrance book, but I didnt know if I should study mostly algrebra or fractions. So you really helped me know what to study. THANKS AWHOLE BUNCH! Missy
