Hi I am a new RN and I just got my license here in las vegas nevada. I am applying for different hospitals and I am wondering how many weeks do I have to wait to get interviews?

Hi there - I'm actually in Las Vegas right now at a conference! When I lived here, I worked at Sunrise Hosp - looked like Desert Springs has expanded too.

I would say, submit your resume and then call the nurse recruiter in one week to see where you stand.

I don't know about time to wait in Las Vegas but here where I work it is about 2 weeks as they check references prior to an interview.

With mine in GA,i learnt you need to call them like a week after application.Dont wait endlessly.Give 'em a call cos you never know.A times,they take so much time especially when you are a new RN.goodluck Dear.
