Question about getting into UCF Nursing program.

Published

i am a valencia student trying to get into ucf college of nursing. i currently have a gpa of 3.5, passed the teas with an 87%, and passed all but 2 of my prerequs with a's( the other 2 were b's). does anyone know if this is competitive enough to get into the program? should i be worried?

Awesome! Good luck!

Let us know how it goes!

I just finished my last prereq today and can't wait to see what I got in the class!

So far my cum GPA is 3.6, and science prereq is 3.9. I haven't taken the TEAS yet. btw, how was TEAS? was it hard?

I took version 4 and I think it is now version 5. I hear that 5 is better because it is less geology science and more biological science. You'd think that would have been the bulk of it before, but we only had one small section on biological and a very large section on plate tectonics and other such nonsense that you haven't studied since 9th grade. I studied the book for a month before hand and the test was slightly easier than the book implied. If you study it front to back, you should do very well. Good luck and congrats on finishing!

Hi, I'm new to this website :) and I was just wondering were can I get the TEAS practice book...That would help me soooo much. And I'm trying to get into UCF's nursing program too!!

You can purchase the official TEAS study manual through the ATI website. They have 2 options: only the manual ($44) or the manual plus 2 online practice tests ($88).

I'm also applying to the UCF college of Nursing!!! Good luck to you :)
