Well, Im wanting to take Microbiology, Organic Chem, and Statistics. (Not at the same time though) So I just mailed off my application to the home school of CNCC. Hope it goes smoothly.

Im sick of waiting to get into my local community college Micro classes They ALWAYS close up.

Hi,

I registered with Comm Coll of Denver as my home college back in January, but not taking a class until this summer - the "dreaded" Statistics, lol. From what I have seen they seem to offer several classes, kind of staggered, with the latest being offered directly from CCC Online. Upon questioning I learned that you will get credits though from your HOME college, and not from CCC online, which is good since most colleges seem to NOT accept "online" credits.

So, when are you planning on taking these? Summer? Maybe we can talk via e-mail if you do wind up taking the Stats.

Hi there, thanks for the response.

Yea, I registered with CNCC (home college) and still waiting to get a letter. I just sent in my app.

Since I am in Calif. the tuition will be huge for me, but its worth it if I can get in, the classes locally fill up SUPER fast and I am not going on another waitlist. I will be taking Statistics this fall through them, if all goes as planned. So definitely let me know how it goes. I'll be in Inter. Algebra this summer. (I HATE math) Anyways let me know how the whole ccconline experience goes!

I am finishing up this semester with CCC Online. My classes were not full and I was able to take both of the ones I needed.

I am finishing up 2 classes with CCC Online. I had no problem getting the 2 classes I wanted. My experience with CCC Online is mixed though. I, unfortunately, have one instructor who "makes up the rules as she goes along" *sigh and seems to have many personality conflicts with students. She seems to get upset when she is questioned about certain things that are clearly wrong and then takes pts. off later assignments from persons who dared to question her. I am less than thrilled with this instructor as you can tell. lol

Wow Kelly, what class is that? I will avoid that one! I liked the Micor class except that dang lab manual and all the errors. That made the labs much harder than necessary.

It's my HG&D class. I agree about the micro lab manual, that thing was aggravating but I started lab 13, so the end is almost here. :) Are we in the same Micro class?

I was all set to take online Statistics this summer. I just registered online and the tuition is coming up as approx $1100 for this 3 credit course? Could that be right? I am in New Jersey and considered out of state tuition, but I thought that when I read the info last January it stated something like $140/per credit...this does not add up?

Can anyone help me out with this?

Kim

a ccconline course should not be that much. The tuition is the same whether you are in state or out of state fro these classes. You must be registering for an online class offered directly though your home school. Make sure it is a ccconline course.

This is freaking unbelievable! This teacher has been nitpicking points off my grades since I questioned her about one paper! Today, she gives me a lesser grade for not participating in discussions enough and posting alot just to "get caught up"AFTER SHE CLOSES THE DISCUSSION A WEEK EARLY!! So, in reality I posted plenty in the first week of discussion and she accuses me of not doing so because she closes the discussion a week early?? OMG, this is so ridiculous and she has me so stressed out. I am calling the school to drop it and take it here at my home college.
