Umm, what are they? :) How do they work? I am still in highschool, but when I read that in college you have to have a certain number of "hours", I get confused. Like if one course has 3 hours. Anyone care to explain? (this is probably a really stupid quesiton!) lol
Rena RN 2003, RN 635 Posts Aug 17, 2002 it is not a stupid question unless unasked. :)college hours are the amount of hours you are expected to attend a class in one week. so for a 3 credit hour class you will be in the classroom for 3 hours. either 3 hours in one day or 1.5 hours x 2 days, or 1 hour x 3 days ect.when will you graduate and are you thinking of nursing?
