Queens University ABSN Program

Since there are not many recent posts about Queens' Accelerated BSN program, are there any current students or grads who can give their perspective?

I am applying for Summer 2016 and would love to hear what people think!

Otherwise, is anyone else applying for next year as well?

Thanks! I was wait listed but I am not very hopeful. I'm not sure why the tab would disappear though

check your degree progress. If you see ABSN on it that probably means you got in. I figured weeks ago that I hadn't gotten in. Turns out I was right. My friend was accepted.

Mine says no degree in progress, which if it means what we think it means then I didn't get in either! Guess I'll have to wait for the letter to see!

I am anxious for you! Have you tried to access the admissions tab from your phone?

i wouldn't take that to mean you didn't get it. It may be a good sign that it disappeared.

Hey guys, I'm trying to check online because I have not received the mail yet. However, I am a tad bit confused when I get to the admissions status. Should it say anything under the "Status" title? (Which is between "Field of Study" and "Contacts") I am going crazy because I don't know how to tell if I was accepted or not.

I got waitlisted too. I couldn't find the admissions tab. i even called the help desk, which turned out to be a no help desk. ha. good luck.

I marked that I would on the wait list form but I am unsure if I would attend. The only reason I considered Queens is because of the ABSN. I wonder how many people were wait list? Im trying to convince myself that there will be spots left but I'm feeling defeated.

I'm waitlisted too and am having the same issue with there not being an admissions tab once I log in. I hadn't considered the traditional track as an option, so I submitted my form saying I'd like to be on the waitlist for just the ABSN. I might go in to talk to admissions to see how exactly the traditional track would work if it came to that... it would all depend on how long it would take and how many of my prerequisites would transfer into the program I guess.

Admissions said waitlisted applicants are notified as the spots come open, so I can only hope I am somewhere close to the top of the list! I am bummed for sure but still hopeful!
