I'm not asking anyone to do my homework for me. I still need to research the academic literature to support my paper. I still need to type up the paper and put the interview in the context of my own words. I still need to answer the supplemental questions.
I'm simply asking for some to let me interview them regarding their job description and those are the questions I'm suppose to ask. I would do the interview in person and did have someone lined up, but she hasn't been available and my assignment is due this week. I don't think I can be faulted for trying to find some kinds of other source for this assignment, despite whether the interview is in person or not. Sorry, but I'm not apologizing for trying to complete this assignment by another means rather than run around or wait for my initial interviewee to become available.
To anyone who will actually be helpful.. If you are available for me to interview, please private message me and I would be happy to set up a phone/online conversation with you.

We get these requests a lot, so if there are any other students out there who might get this kind of assignment, listen up:
Part of your faculty's reason for giving you this assignment is to get you to go out there and speak to an RN face to face. A big email blast is not a substitute for shoe leather. AN is not Google.
See, in nursing, you have to learn to speak to a lot of people you would not otherwise encounter; you might find yourself out of your comfort zone. This is part of nursing, a huge part. An anonymous respondent online, well, you don't really know who we are, do you? We could be the truck driving guy living next door for all you know.
So if all you do about learning new things is "Go to the keyboard and hit send," then you are limiting your chances of actual learning a valuable skill you will need all your working life.
That said: Where will you find a nurse? Think outside the (computer) box.
Local hospital: go to the staff development/inservice education office and ask one of them. They value education and will be happy to chat or to hook you up with someone who is.
Go to the public health department downtown. Ditto.
Go to the local school and ask to speak to a school nurse. Ditto.
Go to a local clinic / physician/NP office. Ditto.
Go to the local jail and ask to speak to the nurse there. Ditto.
Notice all of these say, "Go to..." and not "Email..." Remember that part about meeting new people face to face and comfort zone.
Go!
I would do the interview in person and did have someone lined up, but she hasn't been available and my assignment is due this week.
I'm sure this assignment wasn't assigned Friday. When the person you were going to interview wasn't available, you should have been looking for a backup. Like a PP said, no one is going to give you their personal info. And how do you know it's really a nurse you are interviewing on an on-line forum.

Hey everyone!
I need to complete an assignment for my BSN class where I have to interview a nursing with a quality care/improvement care position. The individuals that I had lined up to interview have totally flaked on me and I'm running out of options.
I'm hoping that some here can help me. Here are the questions I need addressed...
1. Initials, credentials, job title, length in present position
2. Working phone number for follow up
3. Scope of responsibilities: major responsibilities, number of direct reports (staff who report to you if any), total operational budget (if you are at liberty to disclose)
4. Your organization's mission, values, vision, and beliefs
5. How is working in inter professional teams utilized in your department's strategic plan?
6. How does your role as a BSN-prepared nurse contribute to your department's strategic plan? or What is having a BSN- prepared nurse needed as part of your department's team.
Thank you to anyone who can be of assistance!!
