75qs I think I failed. =/

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

75q in 1.5hours.

i'm normally a fast test taker so I really tried to slow down with the NCLEX questions, even in practice.

I'm so nervous! I took the NCLEX this morning. and it shut off at 75 questions.

I got 19 SATAs, 1 ordering, and 1 calculation.

I got my LAST question wrong!!! =/ it was a pharm question. i thought I got it right until I looked it up and i was WRONG WRONG WRONG. it was clearly the wrong answer =/

During the test i was confident, especially in the beginning. and then towards the end i started second guessing myself. changed 6 questions! i wasn't supposed to but i couldn't help it!

and now i keep remembering questions and looking them up and getting them wrong!! especially the pharm qs =/

I did the PVT and i got the pop up "recently scheduled, please contact board for assistance." and supposedly that's the old good pop up?

I'm soo nervous. I feel like i'm the 1% that the PVT isn't true!

I won't even know until thursday or friday morning on the CA BRN.

Anyone pass at 75qs and got their last question wrong??

Hi everyone, I took my exam last Saturday it shut down in 75 questions, I got 24 SATAs questions, it was a Horrible exam;

I thought I failed but after two days I paid 8 dollars and I pass, I also did the PVT and received the good pup up!. It is normal to feel like you did wrong but I think if you received so many SATAs questions you are doing right maybe excellent...

Congratulations, you did very good!...

I just want to say thanks everyone for your support!! I really would not have been able to survive these past few days without your support and reassurance.

I found out yesterday morning at 2am! =D

so Hoorayy!!!!!

Sincerely,

Ms. new RN.

OH MY! i have never heard of anyone having 24 SATAS in 75 questions. WOW. you did really good then. =) Congrats to you as well!

Ok just checked Pearson Vue quick results and I am officially an RN!!!!!!! The PVT works!!!!! I had failed a few times before, always got the CC section except for this time and I thought 100% that I failed when I left the testing center, waterworks and all. 2yrs 8 months post graduation, 3 tests later, $2,000.00 in fees, to say I am an RN... PRICELESS ;)

For everone else that got the same "old" good popup and is still awaiting your results... YOU PASSED!!!!! I know you won't be able to celebrate until you see it for yourself but congratulations in advance!!! xoxo

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! =D

i told myself that right after i get my results, i would definitely comment on the pearson vue trick. i am hoping that this would be able to help somebody alleviate any worries that they might have and possibly help them save $7.95.

i took my exam jan 14, 2012. after about an hour and half of total confusion and the computer shutting off on me after the 75th question, i was very sure that i had failed the exam. i only knew 2 questions. i left the examination room totally defeated. on my way out, one of the attendants there asked me how i think i did and i honestly told her that i did not know and i was really hoping i passed because i did not want to spend another $200 on the same exam. she then told me that i could wait and get my results that same day. i said 'really?' and then she said yeah. that if i waited till about 12 midnight for sure i may be able to pay to get the unofficial result (at this point i was under the impression that it took 2 business to get the result and being that monday was a holiday - mlk - i would have to wait till tuesday). then this kind lady then told me about the 'trick'. she said she heard that it works and that i could try it. before now i had never heard of such a trick and i was grateful that she told me. i thought about how this trick works and it makes perfect sense

listen, i am very objective and like to face facts. this is a capitalist society in which we live in - meaning its all about the bottom line. it makes total sense that if one fails the nclex, a way is provided immediately for that person to register. we are talking about money here. it also makes sense that if one passes the nclex the person cannot register because if that person registers and pays the non refundable fee and later finds out that they passed - isnt that a law suit possiblity that pearsonvue would do anything to avoid? so to avoid such things, if you pass you cannot register and if you fail you can register but would have to wait for the bon to send you a new att so you can set a date.

now i have read some comments where people still do not believe the trick and they called pearson vue to ask them if the trick works. let me ask you this - if i am selling a product in order to make money, do you think i would tell you where to get it for free? let that be food for thought. do you think pearson vue would tell you that you can do the trick for free to know the outcome of your examination or ask you to give them $7.95 so they can give you the answer.

my conclusion is that the trick works 100% all the time if you try it after successfull delivery of the exam ( it should say that on your account page). if you get a pop up that would not let you register then you have passed. i know some people who try it and get the cc page still like to hold on to hope and believe that they still passed. i have to say that there is still hope of passing but not that exam. you would have to register for another exam in hopes of passing.

so back to me. i took nclex rn on saturday 14 by 930a, was out about 10 mins before 11a, got home about 1p, tried the trick and it wont let me register. ofcourse i was still anxious and still wanted to try again to be double sure. i went out came back by 8p only to find out that pearson vue website was having maintenance and i couldnt do anything till 12 midnight. ofcourse i stayed up so i could try again and i still got the pop-up. i was still not convinced. tried on sunday and then on monday. by monday i see the option to pay to view my unofficial result but i refused to do that. i decided to check the bon site to see. ofcourse nothing - its a holiday. so i waited till now tuesday to check and voila what i knew all along but just had to confirm it before posting here - i passed. thank god

success to all who would be taking the exam soon.

I understand the logic behind the trick, but I feel that I need to reiterate what I was told by the TN state BON. They have had several incidences where a person tried the trick, got the CC page and paid the money to re-register only to find out when the unofficial results were available that they had actually passed. Guess what? They do not get that $200 back. So they call the BON to see if there is anything they can do to help and of course they can't do anything about it. Just some food for thought, technology is not fool proof and sometimes computers make mistakes. I would say $7.95 is a very small amount to pay for peace of mind.

I swear I got 75 drug questions.... Feel I must have failed because it wouldnt stop throwing drug question after drug question at me. SATA as well.... Got the good popup just now. I sincerely hope it works.

i just took my nclex this am and got 75 questions and a lot of sata. id say it would be 2 regular questions then a sata etc. i tried the pvt and it says results are on hold. what do you guys think?!?? ahhhh

Ahh, that's nerve wrecking. I'm not sure why they're on hold, how long ago did you take your test? I know that it has been recommended that you wait until after the results say delivery successful to try the PVT. Good luck, I take my test soon, so ready for it to be over!

omg i had the same test! almost every 2 questions were sata. i took it this morning.. i really hope i passed..
