Hi! I just applied to the QCC Nursing program for fall 2021. I was wondering if anyone else applied or gotten their interview date yet?

Oh thats great! I just got my email for my interview today! thanks for the info! I'm a bit nervous but I think it will go well!

Hey Guys, 

Quick question should I be worried I applied April 16th but haven’t received an email or anything. I also have a WU that is in the process of being removed I don’t know if that is the reason I haven’t got an email yet. If anyone can help me out I will greatly appreciate it.

I applied on the first day and I only heard back today so it might take some time for them to get back to you. I would try and call the department about the WU might be holding you back. Was the WU for a prerec?

Hi, thank you for your reply. Yes the WU is a pre req math I took at hunter it’s in the process of being removed because I retook it at qcc. I decided to apply since I wanted to try out for fall 2021 but I got a 110 in pax exam ? hopefully it doesn’t impact me as much cause my lowest score was science. I was not planning on applying because I didn’t know I could remove the wu so I didn’t have enough time to study for the pax.

Yeah I'd call and ask. I know the minimum requirement for the PAX was a 110 but that doesn't mean you won't get in at all! or you can even try emailing them or speaking to your advisor.

Hey, I just had my interview today. I think it went okay but my socially anxious brain loves to overthink LOL. Does anyone know how much the interview weighs on the overall selection process? I have a 3.9 GPA and got 159 on PX

I just had mine today as well! I think I did pretty well but you never know. They said well hear back within a month, so im still pretty nervous. I think you have some pretty good numbers though you might get in! what kind of questions did they ask you?
