Took my nclex this morning and did the pvt trick 3 hours later with my debit card. I inputed the wrong info and got the "card declined" message and later the "invalid security code" message.. I have found no evidence of anyone online passing after getting these messages so i'm 99.999999% positive that i failed for the second time.. Im just tired and embarrassed. I want to just give it up before the stress kills me.. The first time i took it I did the hurst review and failed. This time i did the NCSBN review and used hundreds of flash cards.. I studied like a mad man and neglected my family and still failed.. Maybe this isn't for me..

A) The PVT is nothing more than a software glitch.
B) The PVT may not be accurate within 24 hours of completing the test.
C) The PVT may require 100% accurate credit card information to get the good or bad popup. The message displayed is either that you already have a registration and cannot make another at this time or you will be out $200.
Don't give up hope yet based on something that has been inaccurate at times (especially prior to 24 hours passing)- you can find posts in this forum that reflect the inaccuracy. Wait for the official results or quick results if your state participates.

Hey I know how it feels to fail for the 2nd time and I can empathize with you. The feeling totally sucks. But with that being said you do not know for sure until you get the official results and until then there is nothing you can do but patiently wait. Try to get your mind off of things and go out or have a drink or go see your family. Don't give up and let the past four years of getting your degree go to waste. Best of luck!
I failed.. Not sure what to do now.. Any suggestions? Thx

Sorry to hear you failed. I think you should take some days off to relax and feel the blow of failing NCLEX. Allow yourself to sulk a bit before hitting the grind again. Mourn. You've been stressing a lot about this exam and its time to let it go for a bit. Then, hire a tutor. You seem to not be able to study for this exam alone so maybe an experienced tutor can better help you target your deficits and help to stick to a structured study plan.
Hoping you the best! Don't give up!
