I've done just about everything on the checklist, except I am waiting on my rec letter from my professor. How did you do on the HESI if you dont mind me asking? I made an 80 overall but I am considering retaking before the end of the month. I'm really nervous. I've already been rejected by UTMB and TWU which is really discouraging, so I hoping I get into this program!

Hello all! I am applying to PV for fall as well. I am just needing to get a few things done before the deadline but have all my core nursing prereqs finished and just doing history and government classes and will have 2 classes to take this summer. Not sure of my overall Hesi since I'm combining 2 tests but made 90s on majority of the sections snd 890 on CT. I'm waiting to get my letters as well. I'm hoping to get in! I've only applied to a school out state so far and will applying to a few ADN programs as well for fall just in case. Good luck to everyone and I am glad we have this site to aid us in the process :)

Hi, I have also applied to PVAMU's CON for Fall 2015. I have taken Hesi twice. Does anyone know if they take the best score from both scores or how does it work? I retook it because the first time I did not meet the 75% for Grammar. So I decided to retake the whole thing to see if I would so better.. I was able to pull up all of my scores from the first time except Reading because I ran out of time. So basically I would like to show my scores from my second test and only my reading scores from the first time I took it. Does anyone know if this is possible. Thank you in advance.

Yes they will take scores from 2 tests and combine for best scores. I had the same issue and called the admissions department and spoke to someone who said it is ok to use score from no more than 2 test.

You're welcome! No, going to drop off my app this Friday. I'm still waiting on a letter from my professor which should be done in the next day or so. What about you? Can't believe the deadline is Sunday! From previous threads it seems they usually sent out notice of acceptance before the end of March! I do, but I'm rarely on FB if at all :(

Yea I submitted everything this past Friday. I talked to Dr. Smith and she said by the end of April we will receive the letter. So idk But I'm anxious to find out.

Good! Can't wait. You still have any classes left to take? I'll have 2 to take if accepted. I wonder how many ppl have applied
