Similar to what "panda" had said, Phych just wasn't my "thing". It was interesting for a few weeks, and then I was ready to move on. Also, the course load of work in the summer semester is crammed into a shorter time spam (10 weeks instead of the regular 16!), and I had Microbiology on top of Nur.185 class and clinical. It's just been a hectic summer, and I wanted to vent to my future nurse friends here .:) I look forward to seeing you all on "the other side"....We're going to make it, I just know it! Thanks everyone, for making me feel welcome here. If I can ever be of help, just get in touch....Darby
Our psych rotation was 16 weeks of info crammed into 6 weeks. I however loved it! It was alot of work in theory. (too many papers IMHO!) but clinicals were wonderful. Out of 60 students, I was the only one with that feeling. LOL no one else loved it as I did! I am hoping to go into the ER setting, after all I wil get the excitement and fast paced environment I want and I will get plenty of psych in there as well. So double the excitement.

Well Girls ( and guys), I have made it through Nursing 185! It has been a long summer, and we had our finals today. I got up at 3:00 a.m., to finish cramming for our finals! I am so glad to be finished, and still standing! I hope to get a new excitement for nursing during the Fall semester, and will be looking forward to graduating next Spring. I don't post here very often anymore, ( I dont have time...LOL), but I do check on you guys from time to time. I have another week of Microbiology, and then I will have a week off between semesters. Good luck to all the new students here, and let me know if I can be of help. Be cool ....
