Psych NP school interviews

Hello all beautiful people on this forum, I hope you guys and your respective families have been safe and sound during this time. Question, has anyone interviewed for a psych NP Program at stony brook university? (or any other PMHNP program) I have an interview coming up next week via zoom and I'd like to get a feel for the questions they might ask. Thank you very much in advance!

Of the 3 programs I applied to (and accepted), only one requested a formal interview, and I requested one from another one of the three. The interviews were mainly a chance to discuss my background and psych experience and why I wanted to become a psych NP.

Be sure to dress professionally, have a couple thoughtful questions, speak professionally and articulately, and think about what you've learned and accomplished from your psych experience. Also, it's important to talk a bit about why you're interested in that program even if you weren't asked directly so you can show that you've done your research.

Hi! Just wondering when you applied and how you were contacted for an interview. I applied 11/30. Still have not heard back unfortunately.

Hello! I apologize for the lengthy-time of my response. I think I submitted all of the required documents around early October. Most if not all my LOR were in by around early November. I hope you have heard back from them at this point in time.
