I am currently an LPN and I am in an LPN-RN bridge program. This semester we are covering psych and mental health, one of my least favorite subjects. I have a hard time keeping everything straight. I was just wondering if any of you had any suggestions as to how you got through it in your program. Such as any study tools, books, websites, or just little quirky things you might have done to be successful. Thanks......

I had a hard time with psych too. I learned the most from trying to learn techniques to communicate with the clients during clinicals. It was mutually beneficial, because the instructor was watching for improvement, and I was learning for lecture and minimizing awkward/nontherapeutic situations

Hi,
I'd suggest practicing NCLEX questions and paying attention to the rationale to help you get a feel for the exams. As for clinicals just go, keep an open mind and enjoy yourself. :)
