Psych jobs in Twin Cities

Hello Everyone,

I am an RN who wishes to return to work in the Minneapolis/St.Paul area. I have about 10 years of psych/chem. dep. experience and will be job hunting after I finish a nursing refresher course in mid March. I am looking for advice on good places to apply that are reasonably safe and well run. I live in the south suburbs.

It would be a long commute. However, have you considered working in a state facility? Many years ago I worked in what is now the Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center. It was a great working experience.

Thanks for your reply, RNentrepreneur. Anoka is too far a commute for me, unfortunately. I wish that the state hospital was closer to me-I would apply in a heartbeat.
