Hi everyone,
So has anyone taken the PSB-RN within the past few years? I'm absolutely furious because I spent over $350 on a psb prep class online and study guides designed specifically for the exam and it was ALL lies. Nothing from the class or books were on the exam.
The math was 100% word problems. There was no addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, measurement conversions, fractions, area, volume, nor surface volume equations. There was Only word problems which is basically something u know or dont. You cant really study for it.
The spelling and vocational sections dont count toward points which I think is pointless to waste time doing it.
The reading comp you have 15 minutes to do 80 questions. For every 3-4 question, there are two to three paragraphs that ask in depth questions in which u actually have to read bc the answers are not obvious.
The science is ALL a&p which was good for me bc I already took an a&p and med term class. There were no questions about physics, genetics, chemistry, nor bio.
Basically, you have no way to study any of the material. You either learned it growing up and know it or you don't.
I'm mad I was deceived into thinking these books and class helped bc they didn't.
I have to wait 3 weeks to see if I passed. There were too many questions and too little time.
