Providence TIPS April 2021

Hello! 

This will be the thread for all those applying to Providence SOCAL April 2021! 

I submitted my application today. This is my second time applying. I applied for the September (didn't have my RN lic at the time) cohort but didn't get selected for an in person interview. Last time I was requested to do a video interview. This time I received a self paced text only interview.

Anyone still waiting to hear back from ST.Joe’s? My portal just updated today to RN 1 and certain unit I received. I’m excited I think I got the job but haven’t received a call yet.

I did for tarzana. Mixed feelings about it. I also interviewed for santa Monica last week and felt that it was much more relaxed than tarzana was. How did you feel?

I didn’t Interview for SM, but I definitely felt that Tarzana was super tense! Very mixed emotions right now as well!!

Congrats! What unit? I'm still waiting and hoping my portal updates ?

I am super curious why was it so tense? I got a position at St Joesph Orange, but curious to know what happened .. ?

Hey! When did you interview and when did you hear back? I interviewed with OC, but I feel like I've been waiting for a while now. I know some people who got official rejections on their portail though.

I interviewed for LCOM Torrance this morning, I feel really good about it! I think it went well and I’m excited. For those who got offers/portal changes how long did it take for your portal to change to RN I after your interview? It seems most everyone saw the portal update before they got the call.

I interviewed at LCM Torrance as well! I feel as though the interview went very well. Questions ran smoothly and the interview panel seem to be very receptive and understanding of what I was conveying. The case study was a bit intimidating at first but I think it went pretty smoothly and felt similar to the cases we did for virtual clinical. 
 

Does anyone know the timeline or have an approximate of when we usually hear back?

Which unit did you hear back from if you don't mind me asking?

hello! I just saw my portal update today to RN I and to a specific unit for st. joseph (orange). I haven't received an official call or email yet but I'm hopeful!
