Providence TIP September 2022

Published

Hi all! I applied yesterday to the Providence TIP for SoCal (specifically at Holy Cross) and immediately got a text interview request. The text interview was clarifying that I'll be able to take the NCLEX in time, what units I want to work for, etc. Right after I submitted that I got an interview request!

Does anyone know what the interview will be like? Based on the info they have with the confirmation email it seems to be behavioral.

I’m also wondering the same thing! I have no clue what type of behavioral questions they may ask us

I just interviewed this morning as well! I got a case study and a prioritization question thrown in there which I was not expecting and I'm also super nervous ':)

I felt like the behavioral questions were alright but the case study caught me off guard! I just hope my answers for the behavioral questions put me in a good place.

I didn’t feel great about the case study. I wasted 2 minutes writing everything down because I thought they close the case study after 5 minutes lmao. Because of that, I didn’t spend enough time reading it thoroughly and answered  in a messy way. Oh well. They were really nice though.

OMG I didn't write alot down because I thought they would leave the case study up! but they took it down after the 5 min so I was just trying to recall the case study. I feel the same way. If I had more time I feel like I couldve worded my answers better.

I thought my case study went really well actually, but my behavioral questions weren't full strength because I was so nervous...what units did you guys apply for? I'm trying for med-surg and I said I preferred sepsis/med surg tele, float med surg, and ortho med surg.

I feel for you! Opposite issue, same problem LOL. I guess we should have asked if they leave the screen up or if we need to write it all down.

Thats good! Did you interview for St. Jude? I put medsurg neuro, then step down tele and then float med surg!
