Providence TIP September 2022

Hi all! I applied yesterday to the Providence TIP for SoCal (specifically at Holy Cross) and immediately got a text interview request. The text interview was clarifying that I'll be able to take the NCLEX in time, what units I want to work for, etc. Right after I submitted that I got an interview request!

I accepted a different job offer not at providence bc I personally never heard back from them. But I took the NCLEX back in march and I used both Uworkd and Mark K lectures only. I feel like using more than 1-2 resources you will just overwhelm yourself. UWorld definitely helped bc it had the same set up as the exam. However, when I took the practice tests I scored borderline and that really put me in a bad mindset. However I kept going and ended up passing the NCLEX in 75!

I’m glad you got an opportunity somewhere else! And thanks for the reply. It sounds like a lot of the NCLEX can come down to our mindset when we take it.

thank you! just don’t doubt yourself. Remember you have been studying for this throughout nursing school

Will they let you know if you weren’t accepted? I feel like they should send an update even if you weren’t offered the position. Anyone know?

No. I never got an email on them passing on me but it was on my portal status.

My portal status hasn’t updated from saying “interview complete.” I’m assuming I didn’t get it, but it would’ve been nice to have received an email or an update so I officially know.

no contract but the tip/residency is about a year long.
