  1. Hey guys! For those of you guys starting the Providence TIP program for Sep 2022, feel free to join the FB group. Let's stay connected! https://www.facebook.com/groups/712086956750855/
  2. no contract but the tip/residency is about a year long.
  3. It did! mine matched the shift I was assigned on the portal. Also, congrats on your official offer! glad we finally heard back!
  4. That's awesome. Didn't know they offered visits. I hope you like the ED there. I've heard good things about the st johns ED from a couple of acquaintances. The director of critical care/emergency services is an amazing leader as well. I took the offer to start there this September.
  5. that's true! I've been reading previous discussions and asking questions in other new grad forums regarding the providence tip program. what I've been hearing is that once the portal changes to RN Resident -unit, this is almost a certain sign that we got the position as stated.. just gotta give them some time for them to reach back to us. I'm rlly hoping that we can actually receive a call/email by this week!
  6. It seems like many of us are in the same boat. My portal/application updated to RN Resident - Unit of choice but didn't receive any email or call. I'm not what this really means.
  7. im in the same boat. my portal changed but still haven't received any call/email. hoping we can hear back next week!!
  8. Same. My portal changed but haven’t received any email or call. Really hoping we can hear back from them soon bc I keep questioning. (Applied to la location)
  9. Wanted to post this here bc I think it might help some people. I was scrolling through the Providence May TIP forum and saw a post that showed the email reply from the recruiter/HR regarding questions about an offer. I believe this email is from St. Judes and may apply to St. Joseph hospitals. "Good day, and thank you for reaching out. We sincerely apologize for the long wait. We are now sending the offers for the 1st batch of identified candidates. However, please be informed that the Panel & Nurse Educators are still in the deliberation process and we are still waiting for the final results. Rest assured that we will keep you posted once we have the finalized results. We appreciate your patience and understanding on this matter. Have a great day!"
  10. Hello everyone. I'm hoping I can receive some input from the previous cohort. I applied to the TIP program in the Los Angeles area. My application changed yesterday and showed "RN Resident- unit of my first choice." From reading this thread, it seems like many people who got an offer had this as well. I was wondering if this is the place where I will be starting my residency in... or if there was a different case for anyone else.
  11. I did. My portal changed this morning to RN Resident- (unit)
  12. yup. it says interview completed.
  13. applied to los angeles location- no update since that!
  14. Yup, I think this is a good sign. It says that "Your recruiter will be in touch to let you know about any next steps." I'm hoping we can hear back from them soon (this week)!!
