Providence TIP September 2022

Hi all! I applied yesterday to the Providence TIP for SoCal (specifically at Holy Cross) and immediately got a text interview request. The text interview was clarifying that I'll be able to take the NCLEX in time, what units I want to work for, etc. Right after I submitted that I got an interview request!

im in the same boat. my portal changed but still haven't received any call/email. hoping we can hear back next week!!

My status for St. Joseph Burbank changed a week ago but I haven't received a call or an email.

It was for ED!

Same. My status changed a week ago for St. Joseph but I haven’t gotten an email or call yet.

Was yours also for ED? or for another unit!

It seems like many of us are in the same boat. My portal/application updated to RN Resident - Unit of choice but didn't receive any email or call. I'm not what this really means.

I’m anxious too, but if you think about it they’re probably not in too big of a rush because the cohort doesn’t even start until September. They may just be taking their sweet time..

that's true! I've been reading previous discussions and asking questions in other new grad forums regarding the providence tip program. what I've been hearing is that once the portal changes to RN Resident -unit, this is almost a certain sign that we got the position as stated.. just gotta give them some time for them to reach back to us. 

I'm rlly hoping that we can actually receive a call/email by this week!

Yeah, it’s quite a lot of effort to put in to manually withdraw someone and then go to the trouble to input them into a specific position just to deny them that position!

At this point, does not having a new specific position inputted an indication of not getting a position? My submission status is still in "interview-complete" and I am getting hopeless that it hasn't changed since so many people have said theirs has..
