I haven't seen a thread started for the January 2021 cohort so I figured I will start it. Good luck everyone!

Are you in the RN resident program or the fellowship? Because I thought the RN resident program starts on January 25 for St Mary in Apple Valley

I'm sorry I accidentally put Feb. Yes, Jan 25 tip program for st marys.

I haven’t seen a FB page made yet but I also think it would be helpful and fun to meet everyone! I would join if you made one!

anyone that declined to participate in the Care Program still waiting on a health screening? Me and some other cohort members in Mission Hills are still waiting.

No. Although I’m for the Apple valley location. I declined to participate and I had my health screen last week Friday. They called on Wednesday and I happened to be free, so I drove out there. They may just be scheduling it at a later time. The health screen is quick: they check your immunization records and you decline or accept whatever immunizations they offer you. They check for color blindness in a vision test and they fit test you for a mask. 
It’s not something that needs to be done a month ahead of time to be honest. One of my friends that started with an earlier cohort said they reached out to her about 2 weeks prior, so it depends.

Hi there!

Is anyone here starting TIPS at St John’s in Santa Monica on January 18th? If yes, please share a unit you were hired for and whether you got your health screening completed.

I was hired for a stepdown unit (nights), and haven’t been contacted by anyone regarding caregiver health screening. 
Also, do you know if our first day going to be in person or will it be a video conference?

Hello I have an interview for the Definitive Stepdown unit at St. Joes in OC for the April 2021 cohort and was hoping if anyone currently works there/or interviewed there can give me some insight and tips for the interview? Thank you!

Hi everyone! I'm actually part of the April 2021 cohort and have my interview tomorrow for SMMC - Apple Valley ? and was wondering if anyone who has already interviewed (for any location) could help me narrow down what topics to review for the case study! So far I was thinking sepsis, ARDS, stroke, MI... any other suggestions or am I totally off the mark on what the case study looks like?

What do you mean by portals and units get updated ? 

I just had an interview on Tuesday which was the only one. It was a panel interview. I’m a bit impatient. I asked what’s the next interview step but the float pool manager states this was it.

I’m antsy LOL. Mine says as follows: 

“Interview Complete 

We enjoyed meeting you and hope you were able to get a sense of the position and the team you would be joining. We will be in touch soon to let you know about next steps in the process.”

Hi everyone! I got an offer at St. Jude's in Fullerton for the pathways program. 

Does anyone know what that entails? is it the float pool?
