Hey guys! I'm starting this thread for Providence's RN Residency Program - September 2024 Cohort. Hopefully we can update each other on application processes, interviews, and job offers!
Applications open up on July 3! Good luck to all of us (-:

That was what I thought at first but I applied for PSJMC barely 20 minutes after it was posted and I didn't get an invite but my friend applied 2 hours after I did and she got it. It's confusing.

That is weird! The only thing I could think of if you guys answered questions in the texting interview differently 🤷♀️
Hi, I applied to 5 different hospitals under the Providence system. I got an interview offer at two of them a couple of days after I applied (one in SoCal, one in NorCal/Bay Area). Before getting an interview offer, I got a text message questionnaire thing at all 5 hospitals. Does anyone have any insight or information on the Providence interview process? Is it a panel interview? What type of questions are asked?

I got 2 interviews for the SoCal locations - Providence in Santa Monica and Providence in Burbank, and in the email I received for the interview, it said it'll be a panel interview with multiple managers for different units!
I have a couple of friends who work at those locations, and they said that they'll ask a case study question. They'll give us about 5-10 minutes to read over the case study, and from there we have to tell them nursing interventions, what kinds of labs they might need, etc.

I think each Providence is different. I'm still getting scheduled to interview for a Socal Location. I have an interview scheduled for Friday for a NorCal location
