Providence New Grad 2025 Interviews

Published

Hello! Has anyone who applied to Providence when applications opened up on June 6th heard back yet regarding setting up an interview? I was told the process is different from last year. They said they would reach out for setting up interviews starting June 12th.

For tarzana I asked the tour lady and she said about 8 people per each unit available!

I haven't heard anything back so I'm assuming others have for Tarzana. I think I've heard of at least 1 person for each unit that was available so I'm sure they've sent others out by this time.

Can anyone who has received an offer from Tarzana please share an update so the rest of us know.

Specializes in ER.

Offer from Oncology/Tele and it was via email, no call.

Congrats! Do you mind me asking what your top 3 units were when you were applying?

No, the one person who I have contact with has not received an offer or denial.

congrats! did it happen to have the starting rate by chance? a lot of people wondering what providence starts at in the new grad program.

does anybody know if RNs at providence work every other weekend schedule?

Starting pay for SJMC and SJO is 45, San Pedro is 50.7, Torrance I believe is 51-52? I currently am in the San Pedro TIPS program from February 2025, if youre in float pool you do not have to have rotating weekends, but if you are in a home unit you do, but we self schedule, as long as you have 6 weekend (Day: Sat Sun Night: Friday Sat) shifts in the 6 week schedule period works 🙂 this is what I know for San Pedro at least since this is where I currently work, I can't say the same for any other ones,

hope this helps

okay. I applied for fullerton and orange. that is why I saw the 45$ rate for residents. interesting how the rate depends on location.  when you say home unit you are saying in a unit you are assigned to all the time? I understand the 6 week period but how does scheduling work you set your own schedule?
