Providence Hospitals New Grads

Published

Did anybody apply to the position for BSN new grads for the Providence hospitals job fair for the epic implementation technician?

Sweet, thank you yginay!!!!

I called HR today and ask if you need to get a phone call in order to attend the fair she said no. What she told me is that they are probably not going to have a chance on calling everyone who applied. Just double check and call again, if you guys want. Hopefully what she said is true, I don't want to attend then when I get there I'm not even going to get a chance to even participate in the career fair.

For everyone who attended the Job Fair/EPIC Implementation Interview, how do you feel about the meeting? Did you get any positive feedback? I gathered that we will be let know if we will be offered a position by next Monday (9/2). I did not hear how many people they are expecting to hire. I look forward to your input!

I'm actually quite ecstatic! I was offered a position today on the spot as I'm sure others were. I'm also quite please at me being one step closer to an RN position. I was a little restless that I was there almost 4 hours just sitting and waiting for my name to be called for an interview. However, I'm pleased with the outcome.

I got a job offer on the spot too!!!! So excited.

I got an offer as well! :) I'm curious how many people they offered on the spot compared to how many they will offer next week.

I think its all based on how well you scored. Each question was given a point set of 1 through 5, for a grand total of 25 points. So Im guessing if you got to 25 you got the offer, if you were close they will do a phone interview next week (this is what they said in the case of my friend).

Again this me guessing, but the 3 questions I peeked at, I had scored a 5 on.

Ohh ok I didn't see that score. I saw them write a 1 the top of my paper so I assumed that meant

you get a job offer haha

Did u guys meet with the nursing recruiter/Hr after your interview?

Yeah I notice that too, they were grading based on a point set of 1 to 5...did you get to meet a nurses recruiter after your interview?

Have you guys heard anything about the new grad program for 4 of providence hospitals. I heard they've already hired people/or have interviewed people for the position for two hospitals of providence but still my application still says "under consideration"

Yes, I was taken to HR by my interviewer following my interview. I am so thankful and excited!

I also applied to the four NG positions and rec'd a call from Holy Cross last week. While my status remained 'under consideration' the date changed from 8/11 to 8/20 - which leads me to believe that I passed some type of preliminary sorting process.
