Hello, just starting a forum for Providence RN Residency Program - August 2025 Cohort, I currently work at a Providence hospital and got the email saying that internal applications opened 5/30 and external opens 6/6. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you

I applied to the Santa Monica- postpartum hope I get its my number 1 choice and then I also applied too torrance location.

Specializes in New Graduate Nurse needs help finding jobs.

Do you guys know any other new grad programs, I've been applying to so many jobs and I either keep getting rejected or no response, I've had my license for more than 3 months and graduated 5 months ago. I don't even know what to do anymore, can someone advise me on what I should do and how to get a job, can someone refer me somewhere (any job honestly at this point) I would really appreciate it.

do you have your adn or bsn ? did you apply to any of the locations you did clinicals at ? did you do any externship or work as an LVN or CNA in a facility?  Because I know alot of hospitals are magnet, so they do not really take ADN and alot of the hospitals from what I see internal hire first and take into consideration "outsiders"

I have my BSN and I did apply to hospitals where I did my clinicals at too but honestly still nothing. And no I didn't work as a CNA or LVN, but I did volunteer at cedars Sinai and applied to there new grad program, and I still haven't gotten any response yet.

are you including cover letters ? I know torrance is also opening theres soon. Do you have any specialties you're interested in ? or if you don't have a preference do you have any absoulutely not I could link you too some.
