I have been a nurse for 27-28 years now and it is suprising to see how much nursing has changed over the last 10 years. I have been married to the same man for 29 years and have 4 sons and 8 grandchildren ( what a handful).

    A Groshong cath dose not use heparin because it has a flap on the end to prevent blood form backing out. When not in use can be flushed weekly with normal saline.
