   So it looks like the average time is about a year before things even move forwards in NY State. That seems like at a snails pace. I have heard that its easier in the middle states but the pay is also less

   EB3 route is pretty hard to get as now a days there is almost a 3:1 ration of applicants to accepted applicants. There is a lottery every year and it is getting harder and harder every year.
