Per the OP, she us been working in home health. Guess what? Baycare mobile pool staffs their home health division as well.

And it's really easy to get your foot in the door with Baycare via the mobile pool. Work a 3 month contract at $50/hr to get in the system.

Most schools offer that, but I've found there seems to be a bigger job market for those with IT degrees and being a nurse would make me more marketable to companies like cerner, McKesson, etc

I'm already a masters degree nurse, with over 10 years experience. I want to be the most marketable that I can be.

I would not. I'm a CNM going back for a PMHNP cert because of the job market for CNMs and my own experience with post partum depression. Midwifery is a fickle profession.
