  1. Apple-core, Thank you for the details about the process and orientation time of the program. I am also confused about the 12 months commitment, my question is if you don't finish the 12 months commitment in one way or another, Do banner penalized you of breaking the 12 months commitments?
  2. Hello Fellow New Grad RNs, Did anyone accept or receive a job offer at banner new grad rn? when hospital or unit did you get hired? And when do you start orientation? Did you sign a 12 months contract? I've heard that you have to do 12 months commitments, Does anyone know what it means?
  3. congratulation jessjo3. I thought they won't notify til mid summer but that was quick (unless its only applies to GCC). I though when you get placed they tell you which school right away. Did you pick GCC's traditional, evening or weekend?
  4. Thank you AZBlueBell and Rachelofcourse for your responses. When you take the Hesi Exit exam, do you have to pass and does it count towards your final grade? Also what happens if you fail, do you do remediation or you fail the course? Also is Hesi exit exam for every lecture class class or just one Hesi exit exam for each block?
  5. Hey AZBlueBell... I was wondering, did you guys do clinicals at Block 1 in Assisting living/Nursing home or at hospital? Also do you have to take a medication exam after each block and how about an Hesi exit exam?

  7. I'm not in EMCC but its CEP program is one of my top choices. I also heard nothing but good things about the program
  8. If you're attending or attended MCC nursing especially CEP program. Can someone share with us what their experiences were or are during the program, such as what's hard, easy, doable or not doable, likes, dislike, lecture & clinical instructors? Also when you do clinicals, do you have a nurse preceptor that you follow around the whole clinical shift, if so which block? I am just curious and be prepared and also I know that the whole program is the same but every schools' teaching method is different depend on instructors, and that's why I want what some people's experiences. All your inputs are greatly appreciated
  9. Thank you jessjo3, that's really nice that they waived few classes and already done a pre-assessment. it seems like June/July will be far and waiting will be a nerve racking lol. I hope we all get in and our first choices
  10. Hey jessjo3, Did your advisor mention the rubric points they use to select CEP Applicants? I think they use 3-4 category such as preres, gpa, hesi score, etc. And if I ask, why did you choose upper iowa? is it because lower tuition or they have better reputation than nau and asu, just curious
  11. Talking to an advisor one of the colleges, they stated that the spring '17 CEP application deadline is May 31. I don't know if its for all the colleges but that particular advisor told me. If anyone knows anything else, please share. so what school will be your first choice?
  12. Hello future nurse students,I was wondering if anyone submitted their MCCD CEP Spring '17 Application yet? If so when did you submit it and what was your first choice, second and third school? Also what was your GPA and Hesi score?
