  1. Earlier this week I got a denial letter and then just this morning, got accepted. I think people may still be deciding on whether to accept or not.
  2. Did anyone receive an acceptance email early this morning?
  3. Unfortunately I think their system had a glitch. I did not get an email a few days after the application cycle closed, so I thought no news was good news. I emailed them to double check and was informed I was not accepted at this time. No further information. Maybe next time!
  4. Hi all! They have sent out acceptances. :)
  5. Omg, THIS!!! I know how you feel. Once I got the email, I sat there for a bit letting it hit me and soaking up the entire experience. For me, it was tough. I've been in and out of school for about 6 years and finally applied somewhere and my family has been waiting on it for much longer than that. I know it's tough with all the pressure, but what helped us was that they knew it was a lottery system. It was all luck! Make sure your parents understand you've worked hard, and finally got to the milestone of applying. It's a big step! They will feel disappointed at first, but reassure them that perhaps everything happens for a reason. maybe you can take different classes (personally, I am continuing my pre read for my second major, clinical lab science & that'll take even longer!) or work to get some extra money, do something you enjoy! Don't be too hard on yourself (I know it's easier said than done). But, like FMiller said, it'll happen! I have a friend who didn't get in on the first time either, but she did her second time applying. Just keep your head up and remain positive :) and if you even need some support after spilling the news, we are here for you!
  6. Nope, just LAHC for me. Did anybody get in from this forum?? I wonder how many eligible applicants there were and how many seats. I'm already thinking about the dread of not getting in a second time lol.
  7. They've sent out the letters. Unfortunately I wasn't accepted due to the high volume of applicants
  8. If I don't get accepted this semester, I'm enrolled into a Spanish course over the summer at LAHC, just to get the ball rolling in case I'd need to speak to patients in espanol in the future! Haha. Other than that, I will most likely be studying some dosage calculations and pharmacology textbooks since they don't offer those two courses during summer. Maybe they will during fall. But I'm definitely going to apply a second time once the application period opens again. Lets hope we all get lucky!!!
  9. No they just gave us a slip of paper saying if we passed, we continued in the selection process and if not, remediation was available. I left really early so I don't know if the proctor mentioned it later on to other testers. But let's hope it's sometime this coming week! The nerves are getting to me. I'm trying to plan on what to do if I'm not selected í ½í¸
  10. Test day was today! I want to say there were about 20-30 people who showed up.
  11. Just received the confirmation email for the TEAS!
  12. Same!!! I get anxiety every single day haha. There's an app called Pocket Prep for the TEAS and I find its really useful.
