The part I like best is triage, and teaching about dx and meds. The least desirable is having 10 patients and having to triage my own patients, too. A slower pace would be nice.

Which NP specialty is most in demand?

I'm a RN in Texas and work in the Psychiatric ER at a Level 1 Trauma Center. Psych NPs are in high demand and make the highest salaries. Several of my coworkers are currently in grad school.
