  1. No I don't see a link that says status update. When I go to the application portal there is no update.
  2. I'm sorry. I hope you get accepted into a program soon.
  3. Yes, this happened to me. NursingCas did not verify my application as complete. On my end it looked like my application was submitted but NursingCas did to not verify one of my transcripts. When I called Murray State, I spoke to the program director, and she told me because my application was not verified they weren't able to review my application for this cycle. Also, all of the interview invites have been sent out last week.
  4. I feel like I let my nerves got the better of me. Also, I definitely bombed that dosage calc test. Haven't done dose calculations since nursing school. I'm sure peds nurses dominated it though. But I agree, the students were so nice and it seems like a really supportive program.
  5. I just called Columbia and was given the same information as previously stated in the thread. The faculty is still reviewing applications, and interview dates have been adjusted to the last week of October and the first week of November. Interview invitations have not been sent out yet.
  6. Same thing... they told me later this month or early October
  7. Either way, It's still a staggering amount of applications received and people who were interviewed. This year the acceptance rate is going to be 5%.
  8. I'm wondering that as well. When I did the interview last week they said they received 600 applications and the number of applicants interviewed were 200. Although I think the number of people extended interview invites were closer to 270, just by counting the number of spots that were offered on the sign up sheet.
  9. Were any of you asked to provide a copy of your CV during the interview?
  10. In what order were the interviews conducted? Alphabetically by name? Sign-in sheet?
  11. 272 interview spots is crazy. I thought it was going to be about about 100 at most. When I called the office earlier this week, they did say they received way more applicants this year than ever before
  12. I was told they would email you if you've been rejected.
  13. Last year people started hearing back from the program around this time. So I think interview invites should go out this week and next
  14. I don't remember the process in depth but I wrote this back in 2016. I think you should just read posts earlier in the thread for a better understanding of the hesi retake process. It's pretty simple and straight forward. To answer your question I didn't ask anyone or tell anyone I was going to retake the exam, I just did after the department head told me I would have to in order to get into the program. I would call HBU and ask them if they have a different code you could use.
  15. Sure. I retook the exam through Houston Bastist University via the distance learning option. If you google HBU hesi, you should be able to find information how to sign up for the hesi using their code. After I retook the exam I just handed in my results in person to the Lehman nursing department. I'm not sure what you scored on the A&P section but Lehman is only looking for a 75 or greater in each section.
  16. I retook the exam through another school and gave Lehman my results. I had to retake the exam because I got lower than an 800 on the critical exam section. If I didn't retake the hesi then I wouldn't have gotton into the program.
  17. Lehman only cares about your science GPA and hesi scores. They don't care about your overall GPA.
