After being a retail manager for a couple years I didn't feel that would be a great long term career for me. I didn't want to go back to school so I looked into everything else my BS in Criminal Justice could get me into. I talked with a lot of people and took a lot of those "personality quizzes" to try and help me find where my strengths would really make a difference. After three people suggested nursing to me I finally gave in and began talking to nurses and looking at nursing schools. After another 6 months of looking at my options I signed up for a CNA class and registered for the first round of sciences I needed to get into an accelerated nursing program. After 1.5 years of school and some exposure during my CNA classes I am extremely excited to become an RN.
