With what GPA?

Doesn't a degree give you advantage in acceptance? Or it is just because it is international they're not counting it?

The GPA cut off is insane. You would literally need an A in every required course. My friend got in the last intake with a 3.4. With the new requirements for next intake not having electives and the extra English and Bio, a 3.9 will be so hard to ach...

When calculating your GPA based on the 5 classes, is it on a 4.33 or 4.00 scale?

With the two electives being included in the GPA, were those the two classes that really raised it? With the new requirements having an extra English and the other part of Bio its going to be so much harder to have as high GPAs as I am reading here!

What GPA were you wait listed with if you don't mind me asking?

AHHHH. I can't believe how high the average to get in is now. And the next intakes don't have the two electives so thats going to be so difficult.

Im not applying until next semester so Im not sure right now. They just changed the requirements now and they don't accept electives so I'm worried It won't be as high as other years that had that option!

Hi guys! Im applying to BCIT this year and I was wondering if they look at your average from your entire transcript or just the needed courses?

Im planning on applying to BCIT as well, they seem to be a lot more professional and straightforward about what they want. However Langara used to be my first choice.

I completed both anatomies through another school but unfortunately Langara does not accept it (BCIT, UBC, VCC etc all accept it). I talked to advisors and they basically said I have to retake both courses. I was planning (with the last requirements)...

Exactly how I feel, I would not have had a problem taking the English this semester. Its just that the way I planned my schedule and to have all my courses done by May does not include nore have room for an extra two classes.

Thats not the case...since most of us have done well in the courses. An extra English class isn't exactly going to prepare us anymore.
