Just received an updated email regarding orientation. We are to fill out a form, register, and pay for the MOAB and Fire Safety Classes. $35 and $30 each respectively, paid on campus at the Community Services Office before August 16.
I am not an alternate. I was accepted back in May. Did the alternates get their medical packet yet? It takes some time to get that stuff ready, though you probably wouldn't want to spend the money if you're not guaranteed a spot yet.

I called about turning in my medical packet yesterday. They didn't have any info for me because there were no professors or director in. They asked me to call back on Monday. I think everyone is out.
You may want to verify if you're actually the 45th alternate. In an older LACC thread, they were saying that the alternate list started at number #41 instead of #1. 40 students were initially accepted, so the first alternate was #41.
Did they say how to confirm the spot? Email, phone call, post card, etc? When they called me to tell me I was accepted they told me I wouldn't enroll in classes until the first day of class. I thought that was a little strange.
Glad to know that the deadline is 6/15 because I still haven't received a letter even though I've been accepted. So unfortunately the alternates won't know yet because we haven't even gotten acceptance letters.
